In Indonesia, the increase in waste continues to occur every year, it is important to introduce waste sorting, especially to children. The purpose of this research is to develop learning media in the form of educational games using the ADDIE method that can help students understand the difference between organic and inorganic waste. The ADDIE method involves five stages including: First, the Analyze stage analyzes the needs of students for the learning media to be designed, Second, Design is the stage of designing concepts that have been made, Third, Development is making the designed concept real with unity software and then testing by material experts and media experts who get a score of 90.6% with a very valid category. Furthermore, the Implementation stage is carried out testing applications on students with blackbox testing as well as pretests and postests with the results of the n-gail count of 0.71 in the high category. Finally Evaluation is a stage for improving educational games that have been made. From the results obtained, it shows that the waste sorting educational game using the ADDIE method is effective in helping students distinguish between organic and inorganic waste. Thus, this waste sorting educational game can be an innovation in increasing student awareness of the environment and efforts to reduce the amount of waste to be well managed.
