<![CDATA[The result of observation conducted in grade VIII of SMPN 1 Rao Selatan shows that students are less active in participating in learning process in the classroom. It might be caused by teachers' technique in conveying learning materials is through lecturing. As a result, students' learning competences in cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects are still low. An effort to overcome this problem is by using Problem Based Learning (PBL) model with Student Worksheets in learning process. The purpose of the research was to know the effect of PBL model with worksheet towards students' learning competences. It was a quasi experimental research. The population of this research was all students in grade VIII of SMPN 1 Rao Selatan in academic year 2015/2016, whereas the sample of this reseach was students in class VIII4 as experimental class and students in class VIII6 as control class. The sample was taken by using purposive sampling technique. The instruments used in this research were multiple-choice test and affective and psychomotor observation sheets. Next, in this research, the data analysis used T-test to analyze cognitive competence and Mann Whitney U test to analyze affective and psychomotor competences. The result of this reseach shows that students' competences in learning English in experimental class are better than students' competences in control class.]]>
