Abstract

Bentuk tahapan kegiatan melalui focus group discussion, kerja sama, perancangan modul, pengujian prototipe, pelatihan workshop IoT dan simulasi pendampingan tutor sebaya, terakhir evaluasi. Abstract: Gen-Z brings knowledge, skills and passion that have the potential to shape the direction of the world's economic development. Gen-Z's role as agents of change is central to Indonesia's progress. Internet of Things technology plays a central role in sustainable economic growth. The solution to overcome the challenges of applying IoT in the threat of stability and educational development in Indonesia through the application of the Peer Tutor approach. The purpose of this activity is to introduce the application of IoT technology with Toya approach to improve hardskills and softskills, and get a comparison with teaching staff in normal classes using a pretest and posttest method questionnaire. The activity stages were carried out starting from the pre, implementation, and evaluation stages. The form of activity stages through focus group discussions, cooperation, module design, prototype testing, IoT workshop training and peer tutor mentoring simulations, finally evaluation. The results obtained from 50 participants, the pretest and posttest scores have increased and the difference is not significant, which is only 2% difference between students who take part in class IoT training with peer tutors and students who take part in IoT training with teaching staff in regular classes. This peer tutor initiative shows that with the right approach, Gen-Z can be effective agents of change.
