Science literacy skills and critical thinking skills are important abilities to have in chapter 21. However, PISA results show that the science literacy ability of Indonesian students is still very low, furthermore, there is an assumption that science literacy allows students to be able to develop critical thinking skills. Therefore, this study aims to see the correlation between science literacy skills and critical thinking skills. This study used quantitative research methods with a correlational approach, with data collection techniques using tests. The test instruments used in this study are tests of scientific literacy skills in indicators, identifying scientific questions or issues, explaining an event scientifically, and using and interpreting data and evidence scientifically. While the critical thinking ability test on indicators of basic clarification, interpretation, analysis, evaluation, and inference. The population in this study was grade V in 8 elementary schools in Kelapa Kampit sub-district and the study sample was 2 classes. The sampling technique is cluster random sampling. The results of the correlation test show that there is a relationship between science literacy skills and critical thinking skills with a moderate correlation level. Furthermore, the regression coefficient showed a value of 0.289, meaning that science literacy ability affects 28.9% of critical thinking skills.
