In the learning process regarding the growth and development of butterfly life, using learning media as a tool to support learning, the teacher only uses the lecture method and only uses supporting media such as printed books. This causes students to be less active in the learning process and makes students busy with their own activities because they do not see directly the process of growth and development of butterfly life, so researchers are trying to increase student activity and interest in the growth and development of butterfly life using 3D learning media. 3-dimensional miniature learning media is a learning tool that imitates the original object. This way, students can experience the object directly rather than just imagining it. This research adopts research and development (R&D) research methods. The development steps used are Definition, Design, Development and Deployment (4D). In the testing stage, 3D miniature learning media was evaluated for use in thematic learning for theme 1 in class 3 after being validated by media and material experts. This media is considered very practical with positive feedback from students, who state that the media is interesting, good, easy to understand and creative. Formative test results show an increase in student activity and learning outcomes, indicating that this media is very effective. The development of 3D miniature media is considered valid, practical and effective..
