This research aims to determine post-reading skills using the development of supplementary teaching materials using the constructivism method for class II elementary school students. This research uses a 4D type of research which consists of 4 stages, namely definition, design, development and dissemination. The subjects of this research were class II students at the Xaverius Catholic Elementary School in Surabaya for the 2023/2024 academic year, totaling 22 students. The conditions for completing or not completing this research are based on the KKM (Minimum Graduation Criteria) score, namely 75. If a student has a score < 75 then they are declared incomplete, but if the score is ≥ 75 then the student is declared complete. The research results showed that there were 12 "incomplete" students in the pretest and 10 "complete" students in the pretest. This shows very poor results. After using supplement teaching materials. A posttest was carried out, and it showed that the number of students who completed the posttest was 22 students. The number of Ngain scores in the "high" category consists of 11 students. However, the number of Ngain scores of "medium" was 11 students. The conclusion of this research is that there is an increase in reading skills after using the development of supplementary teaching materials using the constructivism method for class II elementary school students.
