<![CDATA[This study aims to explore the potential for innovation in Indonesian language teaching materials based on local wisdom for third grade elementary school students. The method used in the research is RnD with the ADDIE development model, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data collection techniques in this study are interviews, observations, tests, valid, questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis techniques in this study include analysis of the validity of practicality and effectiveness of local wisdom teaching materials. The research results of the validation results carried out by the two validators as a whole reached 94% with very valid criteria and are suitable for implementation. The trial given to students that Indonesian teaching materials based on local wisdom get 83% is categorized as very valid. In conclusion, the innovation of Indonesian teaching materials based on local wisdom has proven to be very well used for reading comprehension of third grade students of SDN Karangsono 2 Mraggen Demak. Integrating local wisdom into teaching materials can enrich learning, make it more contextual, and encourage learners to appreciate their own culture more.]]>
