Companies must pursue technological development to gain competitive advantage and improve performance. To achieve and improve performance, companies require active participation of employees by increasing motivation and ensuring job satisfaction.. This research aims to determine the effect of job satisfaction on employee productivity. This research uses qualitative descriptive research. Qualitative descriptive research is used to describe situations or events precisely and accurately. Job satisfaction discussed in this paper is the quality and nature of a person/employee in an organization who carries out their work according to their heart and the desire to fulfill it so that the employee feels satisfied in creating the work they do, and is in line with the organization's mission Although employee engagement does not have a direct impact on performance, its mediating effects on motivation and job satisfaction can have a significant impact on employee performance.
