<![CDATA[The aim of this research was to know wheater there was a influence of light mastery on physics achievement in optics equipments subject at the tenth grade student of MAN 2 Padangsidimpuan. The approach of this research was experimental method. Population of this research was all the tenth grade students of MAN 2 Padangsidimpuan which include 5 classes or 128 students. By using random technique sample, the writer took 45 students as sample. Test was for the both variables used to collect the data for the both variables. The data was analysis by using two ways, they are descriptive analysis and inferential statistics. Based on descriptive analysis, the average of light mastery was 80,88, it was categorized “very good”. The average of physics achievement in optic equipments subject (pretest) was 67,22, it was categorized “enough” while the average of physics achievement in optic equipments subject (posttest) was 80,00, it was categorized “very good”. Based on inferential statistics, the writer used ttest formula. It could be seen that tcount= 10,74 and t table 2,53 at confidence level 95% and error level 5%. It could be seen that tcount was greater than ttable (10,74 > 2,53). It could be concluded that alternative hypothesis was accepted. It means there was a significant influence between light mastery on physics achievement in optic equipments subject at the tenth grade students of MAN 2 Padangsidimpuan.]]>
