The purpose of this study is to increase interest in mathematics learning and achievement Elementary School fifth grade students using method 2 Gebangsari recitation. This research is Classroom Action reserarch (CAR). Data collection techniques in this study conducted by observation, questionnaires, tests, and documentation. The results showed the average value of the 59 students' initial skills test first cycle and test cycle II 60.95 74.52. Given the recitation method can increase interest and achievement mathematics learning, teachers are expected to implement the method.
