<![CDATA[The era of Society 5.0 presents new challenges and opportunities in the field of education, including in Social Studies (IPS) learning. The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into the learning process is expected to enhance the quality and relevance of education. This study aims to analyze the utilization of AI in Social Studies education, the opportunities it offers, the challenges encountered, and the optimization strategies that can be implemented. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis involving Social Studies teachers at junior and senior high school levels. The findings reveal that AI plays a crucial role in personalizing learning, increasing student motivation, and presenting more contextual and engaging materials. However, challenges such as the digital divide, teacher competency readiness, and ethical issues regarding data use must be addressed. The proposed strategies include strengthening teacher training, improving technological infrastructure, and establishing ethical regulations for AI use in education. These findings emphasize that the integration of AI in Social Studies learning should aim not only at technological innovation but also at reinforcing social and humanistic values in line with the vision of Society 5.0.]]>
