<![CDATA[Mental health disorders in pregnant and postpartum mothers can have an impact on maternal welfare and child development. This study aims to determine the level of mental health disorders in pregnant mothers at the MCH Clinic of Puskesmas (Public Health Centre). This study used a quantitative descriptive design with a cross-sectional approach to 94 respondents. Data were collected using the SRQ-20 questionnaires. The results showed that the majority of pregnant mothers were aged 20-35 years, had more than two parities, gave birth normally, breastfed exclusively, and had a pregnancy gap of more than two years. Most of them had secondary education, were unemployed, and had incomes below minimum. Mental health disorders were found in 16 pregnant women (17.0%), with risk factors including age, parity, employment status, and economy. The conclusion of this study shows that socioeconomic and employment factors have an influence on the mental health of pregnant and postpartum mothers. Therefore, more attention is needed, such as providing easy access to counseling or psychological services for pregnant and postpartum mothers, providing sufficient maternity leave and holding educational programs for pregnant women and families regarding mental health, stress management and social support in efforts to prevent and treat mental health disorders in pregnant and postpartum mothers]]>
