<![CDATA[The purpose of the study to describe the process of cooperative learning Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving (TAPPS) in order to increase learning activity and mathematics achievement of class VII A SMP Piri 1 Yogyakarta. This research was Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted a minimum of two cycles. The subjects of this study were students of class VII A SMP Piri 1 Yogyakarta totaling 21 students. The object of this study were learning activity and mathematics achievement. The results showed that learning activity and mathematics achievement have increased. This is indicated by the average percentage of observation sheet result of student learning activity by 69,84% first cycle and 78,17% in the second cycle. Results of students mathematics learning achievement test, the average value of mathematics learning achievement at 53,38 pre-cycle, the first cycle increased to 68,89 and the second cycle increased to 75,66. Based on the results of the implementation of cooperative learning Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving (TAPPS) model can increased learning activity and mathematics achievement.]]>
