This study analyzes the effectiveness of using Educational Game Tools (APE) to enhance the cognitive abilities of children aged 5-6 years at BA Aisyiyah Baleharjo, Pacitan. A quantitative method with a pre-test post-test control group design was employed. The sample consisted of an experimental group using APE and a control group using conventional methods. Data were collected through cognitive tests, observations, and interviews. The t-test results showed a significant improvement in the experimental group (p < 0.05) with an effect size (Cohen’s d) of 0.85, indicating a substantial impact. Observations revealed that children were more active, enthusiastic, and exhibited better memory and problem-solving skills. Interviews with teachers confirmed that APE enhanced cognition, social skills, and learning motivation. Thus, APE is proven effective and recommended for early childhood education.
