<![CDATA[The purposes of this research was to describe the interest and achievement of mathematics in student B eight grade junior high school PIRI 2 Yogyakarta using Quantum Teaching. This research was Class Action Research (CAR). The technique of data done by questionnaire, and tests. The results of the research that increases motivation and mathematics achievement. The average percentage of student motivation questionnaire at pre-cycle was 73,89%, became 80,74 % at cycle I, and became 84,35% at cycle II. Achievement of the KKM also increased. Average of achievement at pre-cycle 47 , 54,66 at the first cycle, and 70,31 at the second cycle. Based the results of the research, learning model of Quantum Teaching can increase motivation and achievement of mathematics. So, teachers can implement Quantum Teaching type as a variation of learning.]]>
