Baby weight is one of the important indicators in assessing the health status and growth and development of babies. Baby massage with gentle stroking techniques or tactile stimulation on the skin surface is believed to increase weight through nerve stimulation and blood circulation. This study aims to determine the effect of baby massage on increasing baby weight. The method used is a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design approach. The study sample consisted of 30 babies aged 1–3 months who were divided into two groups: the intervention group (given regular baby massage) and the control group (not given massage). The results showed a significant increase in weight in the intervention group compared to the control group. In conclusion, baby massage with gentle stroking techniques has a positive effect on increasing baby weight.
