Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a chronic skin disease with increasing prevalence, especially among adolescents and young adults. This study aims to determine the prevalence and clinical characteristics of atopic dermatitis in students at one of the universities in Indonesia. This research method uses a quantitative descriptive approach with a survey technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and clinical examinations. The results showed that the prevalence of atopic dermatitis was 12.8% of a total of 200 respondents. The dominant clinical characteristics were pruritus (90.6%), distribution of lesions in body folds (78.1%), and family history of allergies (65.6%). In conclusion, atopic dermatitis is quite common in students and has distinctive characteristics that can be used for early detection and further management.
