Abstract

This research examines the characters of Bella, Edward, Jacob, and the Cullen family in Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer. The study utilizes descriptive research methods and literary theory to analyze the characters' roles, motivations, and development throughout the novel. The research aims to explore the complexity of the main characters, focusing on Bella’s transformation into a vampire, Edward’s inner conflicts, Jacob’s loyalty to his pack, and the Cullen family’s efforts to protect their loved ones. The findings reveal the dynamic nature of these characters and their relationships, highlighting their personal growth and the evolving nature of their identities. The study also emphasizes the importance of literary theory in analyzing popular fiction and understanding the themes presented in the novel.
