Abstract

Kebutuhan mendesak industri perkebunan untuk mengidentifikasi secara akurat dan efisien kondisi produktivitas pohon sawit guna mengoptimalkan hasil panen dan meminimalkan kerugian operasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem berbasis web dan kamera deteksi berbasis kecerdasan buatan (AI) untuk memonitor dan mengevaluasi kondisi pohon sawit di PT Orbit Future Academy, guna menentukan apakah pohon tersebut layak untuk diproduksi. Sistem ini memanfaatkan teknologi pengolahan citra (image processing) yang diintegrasikan dengan algoritma AI untuk mengidentifikasi ciri-ciri pohon sawit yang sehat atau yang sudah tidak produktif. Proses pengujian dilakukan dengan mengamati pohon sawit secara langsung melalui kamera dan menganalisis gambar yang dihasilkan menggunakan model AI yang telah dilatih sebelumnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini mampu memproses gambar pohon sawit dan memberikan hasil yang akurat mengenai kelayakan pohon untuk produksi. Keunggulan dari sistem ini adalah efisiensi waktu dan biaya, serta kemampuan untuk memantau kondisi pohon secara real-time. The urgent need of the plantation industry is to accurately and efficiently identify the productivity condition of oil palm trees in order to optimize harvest yields and minimize operational losses.This study aims to develop a web-based system and artificial intelligence (AI) - based detection camera to monitor and evaluate the condition of oil palm trees at PT Orbit Future Academy, in order to determine whether the trees are suitable for production. In the palm oil plantation industry, manual monitoring is often time- consuming and expensive. The testing process was carried out by observing oil palm trees directly through a camera and analyzing the resulting images using a previously trained AI model. The results of the study show that this system is able to process images of oil palm trees and provide accurate results regarding the suitability of the trees for production. The advantages of this system are time and cost efficiency, as well as the ability to monitor tree conditions in realtime.
