Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of social support on levels of social anxiety and social isolation among adolescents who have been victims of cyberbullying. Using a quantitative approach and mediation regression method, data were collected from 31 respondents aged 16–19 who had experienced cyberbullying. The analysis revealed that social support has a significant effect in reducing social anxiety levels, but does not have a significant impact on levels of social isolation. These findings highlight the important role of social support as a protective factor in alleviating the psychological distress of cyberbullying victims. The implications of this study may serve as a basis for developing support strategies involving family, peers, and community to help victims recover from the negative impacts of online bullying. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh dukungan sosial terhadap tingkat social anxiety dan isolasi sosial pada remaja korban cyberbullying. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan metode regresi mediasi, data dikumpulkan dari 31 responden berusia 16–19 tahun yang pernah mengalami cyberbullying. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa dukungan sosial memiliki pengaruh signifikan dalam menurunkan tingkat social anxiety, namun tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap tingkat isolasi sosial. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa dukungan sosial berperan penting sebagai faktor protektif dalam mengurangi tekanan psikologis korban cyberbullying. Implikasi penelitian ini dapat menjadi dasar pengembangan strategi dukungan berbasis keluarga, teman, dan komunitas untuk membantu korban pulih dari dampak negatif perundungan daring.
