Abstract

This paper attempts to analyze the influence of supervision of Islamic Edu-cation (PAI), compensation, competence, and motivation to work on PAI teacher performance. The result of multiple linear regression analysis con-cluded that all four aspects are jointly significant affect the performance of teachers PAI. Partial regression test results explained that the supervision and competence of significant influence while compensation and motivation influenced but not significant. Based on the model test found that supervision direct impact on performance. Supervision has a direct influence scores greater than the indirect effect. Compensation does not affect the performance directly but through the direct influence of motivation because scores compensation is smaller than the indirect effect. Competence directly influen-ce performance significantly due to the direct influence of competence scores greater than the indirect effect scores.

Abstract

Hasil uji analisis regresi linier berganda disimpulkan bahwa keempat aspek tersebut secara bersama-sama berpengaruh secara siginifikan terhadap kinerja guru PAI. Hasil uji regresi secara parsial menjelaskan bahwa supervisi dan kompetensi berpengaruh signifikan, sementara kompensasi dan motivasi berpengaruh tetapi tidak signifikan. Berdasar pada uji model ditemukan, bahwa supervisi pengawas berpengaruh secara langsung terhadap kinerja. Supervisi memiliki skor pengaruh langsung lebih besar dari skor pengaruh tidak langsung. Kompensasi berpengaruh terhadap kinerja secara tidak langsung tetapi melalui motivasi karena skor pengaruh langsung kompensasi lebih kecil dari pengaruh tidak langsung. Kompetensi berpengaruh langsung terhadap kinerja secara signifikan karena skor pengaruh langsung kompetensi lebih besar dari skor pengaruh tidak langsung.

Abstract

AbstractThis discussion aims to answer two problems, namely (1) is there any effect ofsupervision, compensation, and competency to work’s motivation? (2) is thereany effect of supervision, compensation, and competence on the teacherperformance either directly or indirectly ( through the work motivation)? Theresults of the path analysis testing phase I can concluded that supervision,compensation, competencies significantly effect to work’s motivation. Throughmultivariate regression analysis resulted in a significant influence. Competencyeffective contribution of 14.4 %, amounting to 1.5 % of compensation, andsupervision by 0.8 %. While the results of the partial regression test producessome conclusion, (1) the supervision effect but not significant with a score of0.029 and β scores sig 0.673 ( greater than 0.05 ), (2) the compensation effect is not significant with a score of 0.123 and β scores sig 0.075 (greater than 0.05), and ( 3 ) a significant effect of competence with a score of 0.380 and β sig score of 0.000 ( less than 0.05 ). The result of path analysis of phase II can be cocluded that supervision, compensation, competencies, and motivation together to significantly affect to the performance of Islamic religious teachers. While explaining the partial regression test, supervision and competence have asignificant effect, while compensation and motivation but not significant effect.Furthermore, after the model test found that supervisors supervise directly affect performance. Supervision has a direct effect score is greater than the indirect effect scores. Compensation does not affect the performance directly, but through motivation. Because scores directly effect compensation is smaller than the indirect effect. Competence directly effect performance significantly. Because the direct influence competence scores greater than the indirect effect scores.Effective contribution of each variable is different. Supervision effectivecontribution by 4.81 %. Compensation effective contribution of 0.1 %.Competency effective contribution by 64 %, and the contribution of effectivemotivation of 0.7 %. Abstract

The paper aimed to investigate the influence of teacher's self-efficacy and perception on his or her job to performance through ICT ability. The research is a quantitative description using path analysis methods. The population is 1500. They are the Islamic religious teachers in Semarang, Central Java. The researcher used Isaac & Michael's table to determine the number of samples. Based on the table, the samples are 290. The Findings are the teachers’ self-efficacy and perception greatly affect to their performance, while perception is also being the critical factor influences teachers to use ICT in the classroom, but self-efficacy is not the vital thing for teachers' ability to use ICT. The finding recommends that self-efficacy and perception of Islamic teachers are vital aspects of the quality of performance. Temuan ini merekomendasikan bahwa self-efficacy dan persepsi guru Islam merupakan aspek penting dari kualitas kinerja. Penggunaan TIK di kelas merupakan variabel penting untuk kualitas kinerja guru.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh keaktifan siswa kelas X MA NU Nurul Huda dalam kegiatan Pramuka terhadap kepedulian lingkungan pesisir. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode expost facto. Teknik pengambilan sampel secara random, sebanyak 108 siswa. Data dari dokumentasi dan angket, dianalisis dengan regresi sederhana. Instrumen diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Sedangkan pengujian hipotesis melalui lima tahapan, yaitu uji keberartian korelasi, uji koefisien korelasi pada regresi linier sederhana, koefisien determinasi, persamaan regresi serta uji keberartian dan kelinieran regresi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara keaktifan siswa kelas X MA NU Nurul Huda Semarang dalam kegiatan Pramuka dengan kepedulian lingkungan pesisir. Nilai kontribusi pengaruh keaktifan siswa MA NU Nurul Huda Semarang terhadap kepedulian lingkungan pesisir adalah sebesar 12%.

Abstract

Madrasah diniyah is acknowledged as the oldest educational institution that pioneered character education in Indonesia. Therefore, should there is a policy in relation to the dissolution of madrasah diniyah, public responses are emerging to reject the policy. This study reveals two pivotal roles of madrasah diniyah in relation to character education. First, the contribution of madrasah diniyah to the character education program in Central Java. Second, the contribution index of madrasah diniyah to the character education program in Central Java. This is a descriptive quantitative research. The data obtained through questionnaires by using random sampling technique and interviews. Index contribution is measured through an average score of the respondent’s answer. The contribution index is divided into five categories, namely, extreme high, high, medium, low, and extreme low. This research found out that madrasah diniyah, in general, contributes significantly to the majority of all the character education. It highlights, however, medium contribution in terms of honest character and low contribution with regards to character of fond.
