UPAYA GURU DALAM MEMBANGUN KESADARAN BELAJAR DI SEKOLAH FORMAL PADA SISWA MA DARUL ILMI BANJARBARU

Abstract

Learning awareness in formal schools is a crucial factor in improving the quality of education and shaping independent and responsible students. Teachers play a strategic role in fostering this awareness by providing motivation, implementing engaging teaching methods, and creating a conducive learning environment. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method using interviews and observations to explore teachers' efforts in cultivating students' learning awareness at MA Darul Ilmi Banjarbaru. The findings indicate that the strategies implemented include improving teaching quality, reinforcing positive discipline habits, and receiving support from the school and family environment. However, there are several inhibiting factors, such as students' lack of motivation, limited facilities, and a demanding academic schedule. Through synergy between teachers, schools, and parents, students' learning awareness can be optimally enhanced to support their academic achievement and character development. Keywords: Formal School, Learning Awareness, Teacher Efforts. Kesadaran belajar di sekolah formal merupakan faktor penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dan membentuk siswa yang mandiri serta bertanggung jawab. Guru memiliki peran strategis dalam membangun kesadaran ini melalui pemberian motivasi, metode pembelajaran yang menarik, serta penciptaan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik wawancara dan observasi untuk mengeksplorasi upaya guru dalam menumbuhkan kesadaran belajar siswa di MA Darul Ilmi Banjarbaru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa upaya guru  yang diterapkan meliputi peningkatan kualitas pengajaran, pembiasaan disiplin positif, serta dukungan dari lingkungan sekolah dan keluarga. Namun, terdapat faktor penghambat seperti kurangnya motivasi siswa, keterbatasan fasilitas, dan padatnya jadwal kegiatan. Dengan sinergi antara guru, sekolah, dan orang tua, kesadaran belajar siswa dapat ditingkatkan secara optimal untuk mendukung pencapaian akademik dan pengembangan karakter mereka. Katakunci:Kesadaran Belajar, Sekolah Formal, Upaya Guru. Katakunci:Kesadaran Belajar, Sekolah Formal, Upaya Guru.
