<![CDATA[Abstract. Loving kindness (hesed) in the book of Ruth is a theological concept that reflects unconditional commitment, action, and loyalty that is relevant in the face of relational and spiritual challenges. Modern phenomena such as emotional isolation, trauma, and spiritual crisis demand a holistic pastoral approach. This study aims to integrate the value of hesed with John Bowlby's attachment theory to develop a pastoral counselling model based on faithful love. The result showed that the relationship between Ruth and Naomi reflected a secure attachment pattern, which became a transformative model for building healthy relationships. The conclusion of this study confirms that the integration of hesed theological values and attachment theory can be an effective pastoral counselling framework to support emotional, spiritual, and relational recovery in the modern era.Abstrak. Kasih setia (hesed) dalam kitab Rut merupakan konsep teologis yang mencerminkan komitmen tanpa syarat, tindakan nyata, dan kesetiaan yang relevan dalam menghadapi tantangan relasional dan spiritual. Fenomena modern seperti isolasi emosional, trauma, dan krisis spiritual menuntut pendekatan pastoral yang holistik. Tujuan kajian ini untuk mengintegrasikan nilai hesed dengan teori attachment John Bowlby dalam rangka mengembangkan model pastoral konseling berbasis kasih setia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hubungan antara Rut dan Naomi mencerminkan pola secure attachment, yang menjadi model transformatif untuk membangun relasi yang sehat. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa integrasi nilai teologis hesed dan teori attachment dapat menjadi kerangka pastoral konseling yang efektif untuk mendukung pemulihan emosional, spiritual, dan relasional di era modern.]]>
