Abstract

This paper discusses about the transformation of indigenous cultures (Toala) with the ancestors of Bugineese with Austronesian-speaking in South Sulawesi. The data presented is hand-print tradition that still preserved until today in the rites of the Bugineese. Based on the absolute dating, the meeting of the two communities took place in 2500 BC.
