One of the uniqueness and advantages of a school is that it has a school culture that is strong and continues to exist. A school must have a mission to create a school culture that is challenging and fun, fair, creative, integrated and dedicated to achieving its vision, producing high quality graduates who have the character of piety, honesty, creativity, are able to be role models, work hard, are tolerant and are competent in lead, and answer challenges in the development of science and technology and are based on IMTAQ. This research aims to find the strategies implemented by Batu City State MTs in building a superior class culture in schools. This research uses a qualitative approach, case study type. By using data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using a data reduction process, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that the strategies used in building a superior class culture are 1) selection of prospective superior class participants, 2) Providing qualified teaching staff, 3) Using varied learning strategies, 4) providing adequate funding
