<![CDATA[ABSTRAK Anak sekolah beresiko mengalami masalah kesehatan yang dikarenakan adanya faktor yang mendorong perilaku kurangnya melakukan perawatan kesehatan gigi yaitu kurangnya pengetahuan anak, yang dapat ditingkatkan dan dicegah masalah kesehatan gigi melalui pendidikan kesehatan menggunakan media SEM. Tujuan penelitian untukmengetahui pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan dengan media Short Education Movie (SEM) terhadap pengetahuan anak sekolah tentang perawatan gigi di SDN 8 Limboto. Desain penelitian pra-eksperimental dengan one group pre post test design, populasi siswa kelas II-VI sebanyak 83 siswa, jumlah sampel 29 orang dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan data dianalisis dengan uji statistik Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian diperoleh rata-rata pengetahuan tentang perawatan gigi sebelum diberikan pendidikan kesehatan dengan media SEM yakni 3.38 dengan standar deviasi 1.178 dan sesudah diberikan pendidikan kesehatan dengan media SEM rata-rata pengetahuan tentang perawatan gigi adalah 8.62 dengan standar deviasi 1.265. Hasil uji statistik Wilcoxon didapatkan p-value 0.000 (<α 0.05). Disimpulkan pendidikan kesehatan dengan media SEM dapat mempengaruhi pengetahuan anak sekolah tentang perawatan gigi di SDN 8 Limboto. The aim of the research was to determine the effect of health education using Short Education Movie (SEM) media on school children's knowledge about dental care at SDN 8 Limboto.
