Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh invigorasi benih terung yang sudah dan belum kadaluarsa. Penelitian berlangsung dari Agustus sampai Desember 2024 di Laboratorium Terpadu FPIP UNIPO. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok terdiri dari sepuluh taraf yaitu benih kadaluarsa direndam akuades (BK0), benih kadaluarsa direndam auksin 2 ml per 1000 ml air (BK1), benih kadaluarsa direndam auksin 4 ml per 1000 ml air (BK2), benih kadaluarsa direndam giberelin 2 ml per 1000 ml air (BK3), benih kadaluarsa direndam giberelin 4 ml per 1000 ml air (BK4), benih baru direndam akuades (BB0), benih baru direndam auksin 2 ml per 1000 ml air (BB1), benih baru direndam auksin 4 ml per 1000 ml air (BB2), benih baru direndam giberelin 2 ml per 1000 ml air (BB3), dan benih baru direndam giberelin 4 ml per 1000 ml air (BB4). Diulang sebanyak tiga kali. Perlakuan BK1 memberikan hasil terbaik pada parameter pengamatan daya kecambah 100%, indeks kecepatan pertumbuhan 4,603, kecepatan tumbuh 1,786%, keserempakan tumbuh 100%. Perlakuan BK2 memberikan hasil terbaik pada parameter pengamatan panjang plumula 3,270 cm dan panjang kecambah 9,587 cm. Perlakuan BB1 memberikan hasil terbaik pada parameter pengamatan laju perkecambahan 8,240 hari. Perlakuan BB3 memberikan hasil terbaik pada parameter pengamatan indeks vigor 17,453%. Perlakuan BB2 memberikan hasil terbaik pada parameter pengamatan panjang radikula 9,287 cm. This research aimed to determine the effect of seed invigoration of eggplant seeds, both expired and unexpired seeds. This research used a randomized block design consisting of ten treatment levels, namely expired seeds soaked in distilled water (BK0), expired seeds soaked in 2 ml auxin per 1000 ml water (BK1), expired seeds soaked in 4 ml auxin per 1000 ml water (BK2,, expired seeds soaked in 2 ml gibberellin per 1000 ml water (BK3), expired seeds soaked in 4 ml gibberellin per 1000 ml water (BK4), new seeds soaked in distilled water (BB0), new seeds are soaked in 2 ml auxin per 1000 ml water (BB1), new seeds soaked in 4 ml auxin (BB2), new seeds soaked in 2 ml gibberellin per 1000 ml water (BB3), and new seeds are soaked in 4 ml gibberellin per 1000 ml water (BB4). Repeated three times. BK1 treatment gave the best results on the observation variable 100% germination, growth speed index 4.603, growth speed 1,786%, and simultaneity grows 100%. The BK2 treatment gave the best results for the observed variable plumule length of 3,270 cm and sprout length of 9,587 cm. BB1 treatment gave the best results on the germination rate observation variable of 8,240 days. BB3 treatment gave the best results on the vigor index observation variable of 17,453%. BB2 treatment gave the best results on the observation variable of radicle length of 9,287 cm.
