Abstract: The results of observations conducted by researchers through observations and interviews with BK teachers at UPT SMPN 26 Gresik showed that there were problems with Verbal Abuse behavior among students. One form of Verbal Abuse found was bullying such as tearing bags that did not only happen once, but were repeatedly carried out by peers. This behavior generally occurs because the victim refuses to help with assignments, by being told to buy snacks at the cooperative or canteen. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the modeling technique in group guidance in reducing Verbal Abuse behavior among students. The research design used was pre-experimental with pre-test and post-test. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a sample size of 13 students in grade VIII. The data collection method was carried out through a verbal abuse measurement scale developed by the researcher, while the data analysis technique used the Wilcoxon test. Based on the results of this study and previous studies, it is known that the modeling technique in group guidance has proven effective in reducing Verbal Abuse behavior in students in grade VIII. Abstrak: Hasil observasi yang dilakukan oleh peneliti melalui observasi dan wawancara dengan guru BK di UPT SMPN 26 Gresik menunjukan adanya permasalahan perilaku Verbal Abuse di kalangan siswa. Salah satu bentuk Verbal Abuse yang ditemukan adalah tindakan perundungan seperti penyobekan tas yang tidak hanya terjadi seklai, tetapi berulang kali dilakukan oleh teman sebaya. Perilaku ini umumnya terjadi karena korban menolak membantu mengerjakan tugas, engan disuruh membelikan jajan di koprasi atau kantin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas Teknik modelling dalam bimbingan kelompok gena mengurangi perilaku Verbal Abuse dikalangan peserta didik. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre-experimental dengan pre-test dan post-test. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 13 siswa kelas VIII. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui skala pengukuran verbal abused yang dikembangkan oleh peneliti, sedangkan Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini serta penelitian sebelumnya, diketahui bahwa Teknik modelling dalam bimbingan kelompok terbukti efektif dalam mengurangi perilaku Verbal Abuse pada peserta diidk kelas VIII.
