AbstrakPenelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi Program Sains, Budaya,dan Olahraga(SBO) dalam membangun karakter dan prestasi peserta didik di SMA Negeri 1 Seyeganserta menganalisis faktor pendukung dan penghambatnya. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan penelitiankualitatif pendekatan deskriptif dengan narasumber atau informan Kepala Sekolah, Waka Kurikulum,Koordinator SBO, guru, pelatih, dan peserta didik yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Datadikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, lalu dianalisis menggunakan teknikkondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwaimplementasi SBO berjalan cukup baik dengan dukungan komunikasi efektif, sumber daya manusiadan sarana prasarana yang memadai, serta komitmen pelaksana. Faktor pendukung utama meliputikeberadaan pelatih dan guru ahli, fasilitas memadai, dukungan stakeholder, dan antusiasme siswa.Faktor penghambat meliputi kurang aktifnya guru pendamping, kompleksitas program, kesulitanmencari pelatih kompeten, pelaksanaan di siang hari yang panas, kurangnya komitmen siswa, danlemahnya monitoring kehadiran siswa.Kata kunci: karakter, prestasi, program SBO, SMA Negeri 1 SeyeganAbstractThis study aims to describe the implementation of the Science, Culture, and Sports Program(SBO) in building character and achievement of students at SMA Negeri 1 Seyegan and to analyze thesupporting and inhibiting factors. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with sources orinformants of the Principal, Deputy Curriculum, SBO Coordinator, teachers, trainers, and studentsselected by purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation, interviews, anddocumentation, then analyzed using data condensation techniques, data presentation, and drawingconclusions. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of SBO went quite well with thesupport of effective communication, adequate human resources and infrastructure, and the commitmentof the implementers. The main supporting factors include the presence of trainers and expert teachers,adequate facilities, stakeholder support, and student enthusiasm. Inhibiting factors include the lack ofactive accompanying teachers, the complexity of the program, difficulty in finding competent trainers,implementation during hot days, lack of student commitment, and weak monitoring of studentattendance.Keywords: character, achievement, SBO program, SMA Negeri 1 Seyegan
