Abstract

Fenomena saturasi pada trafo arus memiliki dampak krusial terhadap kinerja rele proteksi dalam sistem tenaga listrik. Pengujian eksperimental dilakukan untuk menganalisis karakteristik trafo arus, dengan fokus pada hubungan antara arus masukan primer (I1​), arus keluaran sekunder (I2​), dan tegangan keluaran (V). Hasil menunjukkan korelasi positif antara I1​ dengan I2​ dan V. nilai V tetap konstan pada 5,5 Volt meskipun I1​ meningkat dari 600 mA ke 800 mA, dan nilai I yang kembali ke 1,3 A pada tegangan tertentu dalam pengujian terpisah. potensi saturasi inti trafo atau perilaku non-linear komponen yang diuji, yang berpotensi memengaruhi akurasi pengukuran arus oleh rele proteksi. khususnya saat mendekati atau memasuki kondisi saturasi. Perilaku non-linear, seperti yang ditunjukkan oleh nilai V yang stabil pada dua titik I1​ yang berbeda, dan penurunan I pada tegangan yang meningkat, pengujian karakteristik trafo arus secara menyeluruh untuk memastikan rele proteksi dapat beroperasi secara akurat dan tepat waktu, terutama dalam menghadapi kondisi gangguan yang mungkin menyebabkan saturasi trafo.   The saturation phenomenon in current transformers has a crucial impact on the performance of protection relays in electric power systems. Experimental testing was conducted to analyze the characteristics of current transformers, focusing on the relationship between primary input current (I1), secondary output current (I2), and output voltage (V). The results showed a positive correlation between I1 and I2 and V. The V value remained constant at 5.5 Volts even though I1 increased from 600 mA to 800 mA, and the I value returned to 1.3 A at a certain voltage in a separate test. potential saturation of the transformer core or non-linear behavior of the components under test, which could potentially affect the accuracy of current measurement by the protection relay. especially when approaching or entering saturation conditions. Non-linear behavior, as indicated by stable V values at two different points of I1, and a decrease in I at increasing voltage, thorough testing of the current transformer characteristics to ensure the protection relay can operate accurately and timely, especially in the face of fault conditions that might cause transformer saturation.
