ABSTRAK Anemia pada ibu hamil merupakan salah satu faktor risiko utama penyebab stunting pada anak. Berdasarkan data Profil Kesehatan Kota Banjarbaru tahun 2023, Puskesmas Rawat Inap Cempaka memiliki prevalensi tertinggi anemia pada ibu hamil sebesar 25,77%. Minimnya pengetahuan ibu hamil tentang gizi seimbang dan pencegahan anemia menjadi tantangan dalam upaya pengendalian stunting. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu hamil mengenai gizi seimbang dan pencegahan anemia melalui intervensi penyuluhan di kelas ibu hamil. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di Puskesmas Rawat Inap Cempaka, Kota Banjarbaru. Sebanyak 29 ibu hamil mengikuti penyuluhan. Pengukuran pengetahuan dilakukan menggunakan instrumen pre-test dan post-test berupa 10 butir pernyataan benar atau salah. Materi penyuluhan disampaikan menggunakan media poster dan leaflet, serta disertai diskusi interaktif. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa sebelum intervensi, 75,9% peserta memiliki tingkat pengetahuan dalam kategori kurang (nilai <70). Setelah penyuluhan, 51,7% peserta mencapai kategori pengetahuan baik (nilai 80–90). Persentase peningkatan pengetahuan berdasarkan N-Gain Score adalah 77,58% yang termasuk dalam kategori efektivitas tinggi. Intervensi penyuluhan gizi seimbang dan pencegahan anemia terbukti efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu hamil. Penyuluhan yang kontekstual, interaktif, dan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif berperan penting dalam meningkatkan kesadaran ibu hamil akan pentingnya asupan gizi selama kehamilan. Saran yang dapat diberikan adalah melaksanakan kegiatan serupa secara berkala di kelas ibu hamil dan melibatkan anggota keluarga agar tercapai dampak yang lebih luas dalam pencegahan anemia dan stunting. According to the 2023 Banjarbaru City Health Profile, Puskesmas Rawat Inap Cempaka had the highest prevalence of anemia among pregnant women, at 25.77%. Limited knowledge among pregnant women about balanced nutrition and anemia prevention remains a challenge in stunting control efforts. This activity aimed to improve pregnant women's knowledge of balanced nutrition and anemia prevention through educational interventions in antenatal classes. The community service activity was carried out at Puskesmas Rawat Inap Cempaka, Banjarbaru City, and was attended by 29 pregnant women. Knowledge was measured using pre-test and post-test instruments consisting of 10 true or false statements. The educational materials were delivered using posters and leaflets, accompanied by interactive discussions. Evaluation results showed that before the intervention, 75.9% of participants had knowledge levels categorized as poor (score <70). After the intervention, 51.7% of participants reached the good knowledge category (scores between 80–90). The percentage increase in knowledge based on the N-Gain Score was 77.58%, which falls into the high effectiveness category. The intervention on balanced nutrition and anemia prevention proved effective in increasing pregnant women's knowledge. Contextual, interactive education using a participatory approach played a significant role in raising awareness of the importance of adequate nutrition during pregnancy. The suggestion that can be given is to carry out similar activities periodically in pregnant women's classes and involve family members to achieve a wider impact in preventing anemia and stunting.
