<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the effect of the combination of PBL and POE models on students’s critical thinking skills in science learning for grade IV of SDN Gedangan. This study is based on the low critical thinking skills of students as a result pf teacher-centered learning and lack of innovation in learning models. This study uses a quantitative methods with the One-Group Pretest-Posttest experiment type. The sample of this study consisted of 24 students of grade IV B. Data collection used to measure students’ critical thinking skills was pretest and posttest questions. The result of the analysis showed that the questionts met valid criteria and could be used. Hypothesis testing using the wilcoxon test showed that the pretest and posttest scores had a significant differences with a value of 0.00 the test result were <0.05. This shows that the combination of PBL and POE models has an effect on students’ critical thinking skills.]]>
