This study aims to determine the effect of peer teaching model on learning straight kick techniques of class viii students at SMPN 1 Cabangbungin. This type of research is Quantitative with the research method used is the experimental method. The experimental method can be interpreted as a research method used to seek the effect of certain treatments on others under controlled conditions. The subjects in this study amounted to 40 class viii students at SMPN 1 Cabangbungin. The instruments used were pretest and posttest with 4 aspects of assessment. So, the results showed that, peer teaching model has a significant influence on learning straight kick techniques of VIII grade students at SMPN 1 Cabangbungin. With a t value of 14,112> t table 2.02269 and a significance value showing 0.000 <0.05. The pretest data has an average value of 65,55 and the posttest value has an average of 70,83.
