<![CDATA[This study discusses the impact of the One China Policy on efforts to resolve the conflict in the Taiwan Strait in 2024. The main issue is the increasing tension between China and Taiwan, and how this policy affects the process of resolving the conflict. The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of the One China Policy in hindering or creating space for diplomacy. This study uses a qualitative approach by combining realism and constructivism theories. The results show that this policy strengthens China's position and limits the options for peaceful negotiations, but also encourages the involvement of international actors carefully. The main contribution of this study is to provide a critical understanding of the influence of foreign policy on regional conflicts, as well as enriching the study of international relations in East Asia.
