ABSTRACT This study aims to improve third grade students understanding of cultural diversity in social studies at Cawang 04 primary school by using a teaching method called Case Based Learning combined with role playing. Often, learning about cultural diversity can be boring and focus too much on memorizing facts. This makes it hard for students to truly grasp and appreciate different cultures. By using Case Based Learning, students get to analyze and solve real life problems related to cultural diversity. At the same time, role playing gives them hands on and fun experiences. The hope is that by combining these two methods, learning will be more meaningful. It should also encourage students to actively discuss and significantly boost their understanding of Indonesia’s rich cultural heritage
