<![CDATA[The emergence of various research methods used in theological higher education is interesting to observe. Field research at the bachelor of Theology level is very popular, while the systematic theology literature research method that has been carried out so far is consideredless scientific, and is only stigmatized as “a kind” of sermone writing. In the end, the framework / structure of the thesis content follows the framework of the field research content, in order to appear scientific. Therefore the purpose of this paper reaffirms the uniqueness theology literature, searching for books, articles related to library research method, through google scholar, and printed books. Second, choosing books, articles on library research methods. Third, making systematic theology books the main source in the study in line with expertise in fiels of systematic theology studies. As a result, using the framework of qualitative field research content, for systematic theology literature research is not not appropriate. The uniqueness of systematic theological literature research is in line with the task of theology, which is evaluative, corrective and formulative for christian teachings, so that it is full of criticism, reaffirmation, and construction of teachings that are true and relevant teachings for the current context.]]>
