<![CDATA[Preeclampsia is characterized by blood pressure of 140/90 mm Hg or more. The prevalence of preeclampsia in East Java in 2022 was 499 cases. In 2023 there were 498 cases, in Jember in 2022 there were 57 people and in 2023 there were 47 people. Age is one of the factors that influence preeclampsia. This study aims to determine the difference in the risk of preeclampsia at high-risk ages. The research design uses comparative. The study population of pregnant women aged ? 20 years and 2-35 years was 186 people, with a Random Sampling technique of 126 respondents. Data collection used a cohort of pregnant women in 2023. Data analysis used the Chi-Square and Odds Ratio tests. Results 41 people aged ?35 years are at risk of preeclampsia and 28 people aged ? 20 years are at risk of preeclampsia, 16 people aged 35 years are not at risk of preeclampsia, 41 people aged ? 20 years are not at risk of preeclampsia There is a difference in the risk of preeclampsia at high-risk ages with p-value = 0.001 < 0.05. Conclusion The older the age of the pregnant woman, the higher the risk of preeclampsia. KIE safe age for pregnancy use contraception first before the age of 20 years and over 35 years. Kesimpulan semakin tua usia ibu hamil maka resiko preeklampsia juga tinggi. KIE usia aman untuk hamil gunakan kontrasepsi dulu sebelum usia mencapai 20 tahun dan usia lebih 35 tahun.
