Abstract

ABSTRAK Produksi halal dalam industri merupakan aspek krusial dalam menjamin kehalalan produk sesuai dengan prinsip syariah Islam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai prinsip dan standar syariah yang mengatur proses produksi, sistem sertifikasi halal, serta peran lembaga pengawas dalam memastikan kepatuhan produk terhadap regulasi halal di Indonesia. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi literatur untuk mengeksplorasi tantangan dan strategi penguatan industri halal berbasis syariah. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa implementasi produksi halal masih menghadapi kendala seperti keterbatasan sumber daya, prosedur sertifikasi yang kompleks, serta kurangnya kesadaran konsumen. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan kolaborasi antara pemerintah, pelaku industri, lembaga pendidikan, dan masyarakat untuk memperkuat ekosistem industri halal secara berkelanjutan. Studi ini memberikan rekomendasi strategis guna meningkatkan efektivitas sertifikasi halal dan pemahaman syariah dalam industri. ABSTRACT Halal production in the industry is a crucial aspect in ensuring product compliance with Islamic sharia principles. This study aims to assess the sharia principles and standards that govern the production process, the halal certification system, and the role of supervisory agencies in ensuring product compliance with halal regulations in Indonesia. The research employs a qualitative method with a literature study approach to explore challenges and strategies to strengthen the halal industry based on sharia. The findings reveal that the implementation of halal production still faces obstacles such as limited resources, complex certification procedures, and low consumer awareness. Therefore, collaboration among the government, industry players, educational institutions, and society is needed to strengthen the halal industry ecosystem sustainably. This study provides strategic recommendations to improve the effectiveness of halal certification and sharia understanding in the industry.
