Background: The larger part of maternal passings in Indonesia are caused by complications amid pregnancy. One preventive exertion to decrease maternal mortality rate can be by expanding data approximately avoiding childbirth complications through video media to pregnant women about preventing complications during childbirth through video media. This media has high effectiveness because of the combination of audio & visual elements into an interesting and interactive media. Objective: To determine the relationship between providing health education about P4K through video media with pregnant women's knowledge about preventing childbirth complications. Method: Using a pre-experimental study by providing pretest and posttest questionnaires to 1 intervention group. The total sampling method was used on 49 respondents, and data analysis used the chi-square test. Results: There was a relationship between providing health education about P4K with the knowledge of pregnant women about preventing complications during childbirth (p = 0.033), but there was no relationship between education and the knowledge of pregnant women about preventing complications during childbirth.
