This research uses a literature study type or research approach. The steps used by researchers in collecting data are as follows: (1) outline the parts that are considered important, (2) select the data, (3) provide a description, (4) draw conclusions. Sociological approach with content analysis strategy. The results of data analysis of the intrinsic structure and social values in the novel Baiat Cinta di Tanah Baduy by Uten Sutendy as teaching material can be explained by the author that in the novel there is an intrinsic structure and social values and can be used as teaching material in high school.
