Leadership can be done by everyone. Leadership that can be clearly observed in life is leadership that is implemented in the political realm, such as involvement in the regional representative council as a leader and representative of the regional people. However, women's involvement in politics is still quite lacking for several reasons. This research was conducted to analyze the role of women starting from the problem of women's involvement in the political realm with a case study of women's involvement in the District DPRD. Sukoharjo. By combining analysis of Feminism Theory and Leadership Theory: genetic, social, ecological using interview methods and literature studies, women's involvement in the legislative realm can be analyzed. The results of the analysis found the fact that there is minimal representation of women in Indonesia and the Sukoharjo DPRD. The biggest factor in the lack of women's representation in Indonesia is the lack of interest from women themselves due to limited understanding and lack of courage
