Abstract

ABSTRAKArtikel ini merupakan luaran program kemitraan dengan Pemerintah Desa Baru Dusun Tabuji melalui kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) yang membahas tentang potensi sumber daya lingkungan pesisir Dusun Tabuji di Desa Baru yang belum dikelola berorientasi ekonomi maritim, padahal potensi lokasinya menjanjikan untuk menjadi lokasi destinasi wisata bahari, seperti area berselancar, lokasi pelaksanaan festival budaya, maupun sekadar untuk rekreasi. Tujuan kegiatan yakni mendorong masyarakat Dusun Tabuji dalam hal pengelolaan lingkungan pesisir berorientasi wawasan ekonomi maritim. Kesimpulan yang didapatkan adalah masyarakat Dusun Tabuji membutuhkan dukungan pemerintah dalam pengelolaan lingkungan yang produktif sehingga memberikan keuntungan ekonomis bagi mereka. Metode yang digunakan adalah penyuluhan berbentuk ceramah dan dialog interaktif yang melibatkan 22 orang warga Dusun Tabuji untuk berdialog dengan tim. Pengumpulan data didukung dengan observasi lapangan dan studi literatur. Hasil kegiatan menemukan bahwa membuka lokasi destinasi wisata budaya maritim merupakan salah satu solusi yang bisa diimplementasikan dengan mempertimbangkan dimensi pelestarian budaya dan keberlanjutan lingkungan serta tata kelola dengan pendekatan dan strategi yang tepat. Melalui upaya kolaboratif dan partisipatif oleh warga dan pemerintah, akan memunculkan potensi-potensi ekonomi bagi warga, seperti terbukanya lapangan pekerjaan baru. Upaya yang disertai pengawasan secara kolaboratif tersebut juga sekaligus akan meminimalisir potensi dampak linkungan yang sedang mengintai.Kata kunci: Pengelolaan Lingkungan; Masyarakat Pesisir; Ekonomi Maritim; Wisata Bahari; Dusun Tabuji. ABSTRACTThis article is an output of a partnership program with the Baru Village Government of Tabuji Hamlet through Community Service (PKM) activities, discussing the potential of coastal environmental resources in Tabuji Hamlet, Baru Village, which have not been managed with a maritime economic orientation. In fact, the location's potential is promising as a marine tourism destination, such as a surfing area, a venue for cultural festivals, or simply for recreation. The activity aimed to encourage the community of Tabuji Hamlet in managing the coastal environment with a maritime economic insight. The conclusion obtained is that the community of Tabuji Hamlet needs government support in productive environmental management so that it provides economic benefits for them. The method used form of lectures and interactive dialogues involving 22 residents of Tabuji Hamlet to have dialogues with the team. Data collection was supported by field observations and literature studies. The results of the activity found that opening a maritime cultural tourism destination is one solution that can be implemented by considering the dimensions of cultural preservation and environmental sustainability, as well as governance with appropriate approaches and strategies. Through collaborative and participatory efforts by residents and the government, economic potential will emerge for residents, such as the opening of new job opportunities. These efforts, accompanied by collaborative supervision, while minimizing the potential environmental impacts that are looming.Keywords: Environmental Management; Coastal Community; Maritime Economy; Marine Tourism; Tabuji Hamlet.
