ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) Membuat rancangan bangun (design) media pembelajaran materi koordinat kartesius berbasis Game Edukasi untuk siswa kelas 8; 2) Mendeskripsikan hasil prototipe media pembelajaran materi koordinat kartesius berbasis Game Edukasi untuk siswa kelas 8; 3) Mengetahui kegunaan media pembelajaran materi koordinat kartesius berbasis Game Edukasi untuk siswa kelas 8. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa:1) Pengembangan aplikasi game edukasi pada pokok bahasan koordinat kartesius kelas VIII SMP dikembangkan dengan menggunakan tools penyedia jasa pengembang aplikasi dengan tehnik koding sederhana menggunakan construct. Selain itu, software pendukung lainnya berupa corel draw, adobe ilustrator dan photoshop; 2) Prototipe yang dihasilkan yaitu media pembelajaran berbasis game edukasi. Media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan tersebut dikhususkan untuk windows; 3) Media game edukasi pada pokok bahasan koordinat kartesius untuk kelas 8 yang dikembangkan telah diuji kelayakan dan kegunaannya. Sehingga, media ini dapat diterima dan layak untuk uji coba namun cakupannya masih terbatas yang dilakukan pada tahap implementasi. Kata kunci: Pengembangan Media, Game Edukasi, Koordinat Kartesius Abstract The purposes of this research were 1) to create the design of education game-based learning media for cartesian coordinate material for 8th grade students; 2) to describe the result of a prototype education game-based learning media for cartesian coordinate material for 8th grade students; 3) to know the use of education game-based learning media for cartesian coordinate material for 8th grade students. The research method used was research and development with ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) as a research model. The results of this study showed that: 1) The development of the educational game application on the cartesian coordinate material for 8th grade was developed by tools of the application developer using simple coding techniques and using the construct. In addition, other supporting software like corel draw, adobe illustrator and photoshop. 2) The result of the prototype was education game-based learning media. The developed learning media was specified for Windows; 3) The education game-based learning media for cartesian coordinate material for 8th grade that were developed has been tested for its worthiness and its use.
