<![CDATA[Corona virus is a group of viruses that can infect the respiratory system. COVID-19 can cause 3 general symptoms that can indicate someone is infected with the corona virus, namely: fever, cough and shortness of breath. Efforts to break the chain of transmission of Covid-19 require good understanding and knowledge from all elements including society. This study aims to identify the relationship between the level of public knowledge about Covid-19 and the behavior of implementing health protocols in preventing and spreading Covid-19. This study uses a comparative causal design (non-experimental). This research was conducted in Batu Bara District. This research focused on one of the villages in Batu Bara district, namely Simodong Village where there were 87 people from the community who participated in this study using the slovin formula. The researcher collected data using the Knowledge Level instrument and the behavior of implementing health protocols. Statistical tests used the Spearman correlation test. Based on the results of the study, a p value of 0.036 was obtained <0.05 which indicates that there is a relationship between the level of public knowledge about Covid-19 and the behavior of implementing the health protocol for the spread of Covid-19 in Batu Bara Regency in 2021. Abstrak Virus corona adalah sekelompok virus yang bisa menginfeksi sistem pernapasan. COVID-19 bisa menyebabkan 3 gejala umum yang bisa menandakan seseorang terinfeksi virus corona, yaitu: demam, batuk dan sesak napas, Upaya pemutusan mata rantai penyebaran covid-19 memerlukan pemahaman dan pengetahuan yang baik dari seluruh elemen termasuk masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi Hubungan tingkat pengetahuan masyarakat tentang Covid-19 dengan perilaku penerapan protokol kesehatan dalam pencegahan dan penyebaran Covid-19 Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kausal komperatif (non eksperimen). Penelitian ini dilaksakan di Kabupaten Batu Bara. Penelitian ini berfokus ke salah satu desa yang ada di kabupaten Batu Bara yaitu Desa Simodong dimana terdapat 87 orang masyarakat yang berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan rumus slovin. Peneliti melakukan pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan instrument Tingkat Pengetahuan dan perilaku penerapan protokol kesehatan .Uji statistik menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan nilai p 0.036< 0.05 yang menunjukkan bahwa Ada Hubungan tingkat pengetahuan masyarakat tentang Covid-19 dengan Perilaku Penerapan protocol kesehatan penyebaran Covid-19 di Kabupaten Batu Bara.]]>
