This study aims to analyze the impact of the Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) policy on poverty in West Kalimantan, particularly from the perspective of Islamic economics. West Kalimantan is one of the regions that receives the BLT program as a government effort to ease the economic burden on the community, with 3,350 households registered to receive assistance in Pontianak. According to BPS data, in 2021, West Kalimantan recorded the second-highest percentage of poor people in Kalimantan Island and had the highest percentage of poor children in 2016. The study found that although the BLT program had a positive impact on poverty reduction, the relationship between household consumption and poverty levels was not significant. The analysis results show that while there is a tendency for a unidirectional relationship, its strength is relatively weak and cannot be used as a strong basis for conclusions. From the Islamic economic perspective, the BLT program is expected to encourage the community to be more responsible in managing the assistance funds to meet basic needs, in line with the principles of social justice and economic empowerment of the ummah. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak kebijakan Bantuan Langsung Tunai (BLT) terhadap kemiskinan di Kalimantan Barat, khususnya dari perspektif ekonomi Islam. Kalimantan Barat merupakan salah satu daerah penerima program BLT sebagai upaya pemerintah untuk meringankan beban ekonomi masyarakat, dengan jumlah 3.350 rumah tangga terdaftar sebagai penerima bantuan di Pontianak. Menurut data BPS, pada tahun 2021, Kalimantan Barat mencatat persentase penduduk miskin tertinggi kedua di Pulau Kalimantan dan memiliki persentase anak miskin tertinggi pada tahun 2016. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa meskipun program BLT berdampak positif terhadap penanggulangan kemiskinan, namun hubungan antara konsumsi rumah tangga dan tingkat kemiskinan tidak signifikan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa meskipun terdapat kecenderungan hubungan yang searah, namun kekuatannya relatif lemah dan tidak dapat dijadikan dasar yang kuat untuk mengambil kesimpulan. Dari perspektif ekonomi Islam, program BLT diharapkan dapat mendorong masyarakat untuk lebih bertanggung jawab dalam mengelola dana bantuan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan dasar, sejalan dengan prinsip keadilan sosial dan pemberdayaan ekonomi umat.
