HUBUNGAN RIWAYAT ANTENTAL CARE DAN STATUS EKONOMI KELUARGA DENGAN KEJADIAN STUNTING

Abstract

Faktor terjadinya stunting dipengaruhi oleh riwayat antental care dan status ekonomi keluarga. Pemeriksaan antental care tidak sesuai standar serta kurangnya pendapatan keluarga, hal ini dapat mempengaruhi kejadian Stunting pada anak. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan riwayat antental care dan status ekonomi keluarga dengan kejadian Stunting di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Limboto Kabupaten Gorontalo. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain analitik korelasi dengan cross-sectional pendekatan analisis retrospektif. Varibel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari variabel independen riwayat antental care dan status ekonomi keluarga dan variabel dependen kejadian stunting. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan populasi 2.895 responden danĀ  sampel sebanyak 96 responden. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner dan uji Chi-Square untuk analisa data dengan hasil p-value 0,000 yang artinya ada hubungan antara riwayat antental care dengan kejadian stunting di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Limboto Kabupaten Gorontalo dan hasil p-value 0,001 yang artinya ada hubungan antara status ekonomi keluarga dengan kejadian stunting di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Limboto Kabupaten Gorontalo. Kesimpulannya terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara riwayat antental care dan status ekonomi keluarga dengan kejadian stunting di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Limboto Kabupaten Gorontalo. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi Puskesmas Limboto dalam meningkatkan upaya promosi kesehatan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran mengenai pentingnya pemeriksaan antental care pada ibu hamil dan merencanakan kehamilan serta keluarga dapat memanajemen pengelolaan keuangan dalam meningkatkan status gizi pada anak.The factors of stunting are influenced by the history of antenatal care and family economic status. Antenatal care examinations are not in accordance with standards and lack of family income, this can affect the incidence of Stunting in children. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the history of antenatal care and family economic status with the incidence of Stunting in the work area of the Limboto Health Center, Gorontalo Regency. This study used a correlation analytic design with a cross-sectional retrospective analysis approach. The variables in this study consisted of independent variables of antenatal care history and family economic status and the dependent variable of stunting incidence. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a population of 2,895 respondents and a sample of 96 respondents. The instruments in this study used questionnaires and Chi-Square tests for data analysis with a p-value of 0.000, which means there is a relationship between the history of antenatal care and the incidence of stunting in the work area of the Limboto Health Center, Gorontalo Regency and a p-value of 0.001, which means there is a relationship between family economic status and the incidence of stunting in the work area of the Limboto Health Center, Gorontalo Regency. In conclusion, there is a significant relationship between antenatal care history and family economic status with the incidence of stunting in the working area of Limboto Health Center, Gorontalo Regency. Therefore, this study is expected to be a reference for Limboto Health Center in improving health promotion efforts to increase awareness of the importance of antenatal care examinations for pregnant women and planning pregnancy and families can manage financial management in improving nutritional status in children.
