<![CDATA[Abstract This research examines the impact of child exploitation on their well-being as victims of economic exploitation. The phenomenon of children begging, performing street music, and working on the streets is still commonly observed due to a lack of parental attention, with parents either allowing or even instructing their children to work. The purpose of this study is to identify the causes of child exploitation, its impact on children's well-being, and efforts to protect children in Indonesia. The findings of the research indicate that child exploitation is influenced by economic, social, and environmental factors, with economic factors being the primary driver. Weak family economic conditions often force parents to allow their children to work on the streets to meet daily needs. The consequences include the inability to fulfill children's rights, uncontrolled social interactions, and moral changes that are inappropriate for their age. This research recommends that the Social Services Department implement educational programs about children's rights and the dangers of economic exploitation, strengthen collaboration with law enforcement to take action against perpetrators of child exploitation, and expand outreach to raise awareness about the importance of reporting child exploitation cases. Keywords : exploitation, child welfare, economic factors, child protection. Abstrak Penelitian ini mengkaji dampak eksploitasi anak terhadap kesejahteraan mereka sebagai korban eksploitasi ekonomi. Fenomena anak-anak yang mengamen, mengemis, dan bekerja di jalanan masih sering ditemukan akibat kurangnya perhatian orang tua yang membiarkan atau bahkan menyuruh anak-anak mereka bekerja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi faktor penyebab eksploitasi anak, dampaknya terhadap kesejahteraan anak, serta upaya perlindungan anak di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa eksploitasi anak dipengaruhi oleh faktor ekonomi, sosial, dan lingkungan, dengan faktor ekonomi sebagai pendorong utama. Kondisi ekonomi keluarga yang lemah sering kali memaksa orang tua untuk mengizinkan anak-anak bekerja di jalanan demi memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-hari. Dampaknya mencakup ketidakmampuan memenuhi hak-hak anak, pergaulan bebas yang tidak terkontrol, serta perubahan moral yang tidak sesuai dengan usia anak. Saran dari penelitian ini yaitu agar Dinas Sosial melaksanakan program edukasi tentang hak-hak anak dan bahaya eksploitasi ekonomi, serta memperkuat kolaborasi dengan aparat penegak hukum untuk menindak pelaku eksploitasi anak dan memperluas sosialisasi mengenai pentingnya pelaporan kasus eksploitasi anak.
