<![CDATA[AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi dan gambaran tentang pelayanan sosial lanjut usia di Kabupaten Banyumas, terutama penerapan prinsip program sosial untuk lansia yang digariskan oleh Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa (PBB). Sebagai bagian dari kebijakan sosial, pelayanan sosial dilakukan untuk mencapai suatu tujuan sosial yaitu pemecahan masalah sosial dan pemenuhan pada kebutuhan sosial. Maka yang menjadi rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana pelayanan sosial lanjut usia di Kabupaten Banyumas. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif, mengkaji fenomena sosial lanjut usia dengan menghasilkan data deskriptif dalam bentuk tertulis dari informan dalam hal ini pendamping, pekerja sosial maupun lansia tersebut. Hasil dalam penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa implementasi pelayanan sosial lansia di kabupaten banyumas menerapkan 5 prinsip PBB yaitu kemandirian, partisipasi, perawatan, pemenuhan diri dan martabat lansia Kata Kunci: Pelayanan Sosial, lansia, Banyumas Abstract This research seeks to obtain information and an overview of social services for the elderly in Banyumas Regency, especially the implementation of the principles of social programs for the elderly outlined by the United Nations (UN). Social Services are part of social policy. As part of social policy, social services are carried out to achieve a social goal, namely solving social problems and fulfilling social needsSo the problem formulation in this research is how social services for the elderly in Banyumas Regency are carried out. The method in this research uses descriptive qualitative, examining the social phenomena of the elderly by producing descriptive data in written form from informants, in this case companions, social workers and the elderly.
