<![CDATA[Therapeutic communication plays an important role in improving the welfare of the elderly, especially in reducing anxiety and depression and improving their social interactions. This study aims to analyze effective therapeutic communication strategies to strengthen interactions with the elderly. The method used is a systematic literature review with the PRISMA approach, which includes 10 relevant articles from various scientific sources. The results of the study indicate that strategies such as a personal approach, questioning and listening techniques, and empowerment of families and health cadres, contribute to the effectiveness of communication with the elderly. However, there are several challenges faced, such as hearing loss, lack of knowledge from families, and limited health workers. Therefore, therapeutic communication training for health workers and education for families are needed to improve the quality of interactions with the elderly. With the implementation of appropriate therapeutic communication, it is hoped that the elderly can feel better emotional support and improve their quality of life.]]>
