This study aims to (1) Know the Pancasila Education teacher's strategy in tackling student delinquency at SMAN 11 Makassar. (2) Knowing the inhibiting factors of Pancasila Education teachers in tackling student delinquency at SMAN 11 Makassar. To achieve the research objectives, it uses a descriptive type of qualitative approach. The data source used in this research is primary data source. The research data were collected using observation, interview and documentation techniques and then analyzed using data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing techniques.The results showed (1) The inhibiting factors of Civics teachers in overcoming the delinquency of students due to the lack of understanding of students so that they turn to acts of recognition and the social environment factors of students who follow the behavior of their peers caused by the lack of supervision and guidance from parents and internal conflicts in the family system can also trigger delinquent behavior of students, so that the delinquency that occurs is included in the category of ordinary delinquency and delinquency that leads to offenses, such as skipping school, active smoking, drinking alcohol, wild racing, and brawls between students. (2) The Civics teacher's strategy in tackling student delinquency at SMAN 11 Makassar uses preventive, repressive and curative strategies, these three aspects include prevention, rule enforcement, and behavior improvement. In the application of the teaching and learning process has been maximized, as well as the application of Civics subjects and the involvement of other teachers has been implemented, but there is still a lack of interaction between students and parents which results in delinquency due to social environmental factors.
